This belongs to a group of medicines called \u201csteroids\u201d. Their full name is corticosteroids. These corticosteroids occur naturally in the body and help maintain health and well-being.<\/p>\n<p>Supplementing your body with additional corticosteroids (such as <strong>Drosone<\/strong><strong>\u00ae<\/strong> tablets) is an effective way of treating various illnesses that involve inflammation in your body. <strong>Drosone<\/strong><strong>\u00ae <\/strong>tablets reduce this inflammation, which could otherwise make your condition worse. You should take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor, in order to get the maximum benefit from it.<\/p>\n<p>Hydrocortisone is a steroid medicine prescribed for the treatment of congenital adrenal hyperplasia in children, emergency treatment of asthma, treatment of reactions to medicines, serum sickness and severe allergic reactions in adults and children.[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><\/li><li class=\"mpc-accordion__item \"><div class=\"mpc-accordion-item__heading mpc-transition mpc-typography--default\"><div data-id=\"mpc_icon-436ac5869431b0e\" class=\"mpc-icon mpc-init mpc-transition mpc-effect-fade mpc-icon-hover \"><div class=\"mpc-icon-wrap\"><i class=\"mpc-icon-part mpc-regular mpc-transition  eti eti_arrow_down\"><\/i><i class=\"mpc-icon-part mpc-hover mpc-transition  eti eti_arrow_down\"><\/i><\/div><\/div><h3>How to take Drosone\u00ae tablets <\/h3><\/div><div class=\"mpc-accordion-item__content mpc-container\" ><div class=\"mpc-accordion-item__wrapper mpc-typography--default\">[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Always take this medicine strictly in accordance with your doctor\u2019s or pharmacist\u2019s instructions. If you are in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. You must take this medicine by mouth. The amount you take each day will depend on your illness.<\/p>\n<p><u>Dosage for acute emergency situations <\/u><\/p>\n<p>The recommended dose for adults is six to eight tablets (60-80mg) every 4 to 6 hours for 24 hours, followed by gradual dose reduction over a few days.<\/p>\n<p><u>Use in children <\/u><\/p>\n<p>When used for replacement therapy, the recommended dose for children is one to three tablets (10-30mg) divided into two doses each day. After dissolving, take it immediately.<\/p>\n<p><u>If you take more <\/u><u>Drosone<\/u><u>\u00ae tablets than you should<\/u><\/p>\n<p>If you accidentally take too many tablets, contact your doctor as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p><u>If you forget to take <\/u><strong><u>Drosone<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>\u00ae tablets<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you forget to take your dose, skip that dose.<\/li>\n<li>Take the next dose as normal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Do not take a double dose to make up for the dose you forgot.<\/p>\n<p><u>If you stop taking <\/u><strong><u>Drosone<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>\u00ae tablets<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is dangerous to reduce the dose of <strong>Drosone<\/strong><strong>\u00ae tablets <\/strong>too quickly. Stopping <strong>Drosone<\/strong><strong>\u00ae tablets <\/strong>may result in your body being left without enough steroid hormones.
