Prednisolone belongs to a group of medicines called steroids (the full name is corticosteroids).<\/p>\n<p>Corticosteroids occur naturally in the body and help maintain health and well-being. Supplementing your body with additional corticosteroids (such as prednisolone) is an effective way to treat various conditions involving inflammation in the body.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Predneau\u00ae<\/strong> Oral Solution reduces this inflammation, which could otherwise worsen your condition. Use the adapter with the syringe to draw the amount of Predneau\u00ae oral solution prescribed for you or your child by your doctor from the bottle.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place the bottle adapter firmly onto the neck of the bottle.<\/li>\n<li>Press the tip of the syringe into the hole at the top of the adapter and make sure it is locked in place.<\/li>\n<li>Hold the syringe in place and then turn the bottle upside down.<\/li>\n<li>While still holding the syringe in place, pull the plunger down to the correct mark on the syringe.<\/li>\n<li>Turn the bottle back to its upright position.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the syringe from the adapter by holding it above the bottle and gently twisting the syringe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After use, replace the bottle cap and wash the dosing syringe with warm water. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you stop taking Predneau\u00ae Oral Solution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Talk to your doctor before you stop taking Predneau\u00ae Oral Solution.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly. Your doctor will tell you how to reduce your dose slowly over a period of weeks or months to help reduce the chance of withdrawal symptoms.<\/li>\n<li>Stopping Predneau\u00ae Oral Solution (especially if stopped suddenly) can lead to withdrawal symptoms.
